Japanese Holly ‘Caroline Upright' (Ilex crenata Caroline upright)
This compact, slow growing, small evergreen shrub is quickly replacing Buxus as the ideal hardy and disease resistant alternative. Its easy to maintain, requiring only light pruning once a year. It also be used for topiary. Sun or partial shade position and moist but well-drained soil. A very hardy plant.
